The text messages inspired me.. so.. here I am, trying a little text faces to express how I feel. :)
When i just started reading it, I was like this ------> :-O
>> OMG!!!! She is so like me in panic mode.
I totally connect with Poppy Wyatt!!
She lost her ring!! The Ring!!!! Her boyfriend's family heirloom.
They are getting married soon and she has to meet her in laws sans the ring!!
The horror!!!!!
What to do??
OMG OMG OMG!!!!!
Then as I read on.. i found myself doing this when Poppy lost her phone and picked up one from the bin -----> :-D
>> OMG!!!! So funny!!!!!!!
I love this Sam already! :)
When I read about Magnus, the man Poppy is supposed to be married and his parents, I feel this -----> >:-|
>> OMG!!!! You got to be kidding me, Poppy!!!

When I read about the text exchanges between Sam and Poppy.. I feel this ---> :P
>> Awwww!!!! That is so sweet and so funny.
When I read about Magnus and his family again, I feel this ----> \('0')/
>> Really!!! Seriously!!!!
The wood scene, I go ----> <3
>> Why wouldn't you??
When Poppy was mad with Sam... I go -----> :(
>> *sigh* Sad!!!
When Poppy talks to Wanda and Magnus, I feel ----> >:( and :'(
>> Magnus... How could you??
When Poppy read her message from Sam while Magnus is over at her place ----> T_T

Reading your review of IGYN made me:1) LOL!
2) Want to run out to the nearest bookstore to get a copy
3) Do 1 & 2 simultaneous, without getting knocked down by a cab.
I liked your review. putting it in texting form...brillant! I total agree this book is a good, enjoyable read. ;)
Hahahaha I had the same reactions as you did! Except that I thought that Sam is a bastard for a while ;)
AMAZING REVIEW (I sound like Willow I know :D) just finished the book, spent whole night crying!!! :')
Hehehe.. thanks! This book is just amazing! I hope she writes more of such books! :)P.S: That scene when Sam msg her? U r not alone. So not alone!
did u read her other books?? This one is my favorite now. Loaded with emotions.awwwww yes.. And the church scene?? Sam's such a cutie!
mrsj wrote: "Yes.. "Can you keep a secret?" used to be my favourite.Don't like the "shopaholics" series."
'secret' is great, but it was too embarrassing. poor girl..
the shopaholic books are great, really. just the last book was boring. I liked Becky and Luke. have u noticed that all her heroines and heroes are almost the same description?
Yes, that is the conclusion I came to. Last month I had this on my mp3 player and started listening to it I had no idea this was text messages, but just the same, it sounded wrong. Because how can they convey a text message in an audio reading? You can't. The whole thing about text message is the visual of it. After listening to about 5 minutes of it, I deleted it and figured I had better get this for my kindle instead. This same thing happened when I tried to listen to Debbie Macomber's Between Friends which is a book written as a series of letters and postcards back and forth between two best friends over the course of a few decades. It did not translate well on audio because you just have to have the visual to "get" what was going on.
I listened to the audio and I thought that the text messages were done very well. It's kind of like the text messages that were done in "Remember Me?" though with a lot more. It's pretty easy to understand because pretty much every time, Poppy says, "then he writes back" or "immedietely a response comes" or something like that. And the character's voices are usually used for their text messages, so you usually know who wrote what. But anyway, I guess that's all a matter of opinion. Either way, it's a fantastic story. (:
@julia.. sorry. Didn't see your message. It is a fantastic one! I am so looking forward to her next work!
