DELIRIUM was my first ARC ever and I was lucky enough to get an ARC for REQUIEM. Read it in one day. That's how you close a trilogy, guys. Full review (no BIG spoilers below).

"Everything comes crumbling down in the Delirium trilogy's explosive finale.

The government that declared love a disease, amor deliria nervosa, is taking action against the Invalids by sending regulators into the Wilds to stamp out rebellion and ward off infection. Lena and the other rebels are being hunted but know they must fight back to knock down the walls in this oppressive society. But the fight has taken its toll on Lena. She's less concerned about who she loves and instead questions her doubt in the cure: “I am no happier than I was when I believed that love was a disease.”

Meanwhile, Lena's best friend, Hana Tate, sounds off in alternating chapters, transporting the reader out of the Wilds and returning them into the sanctioned city of Portland, Maine where Hana lives a life cured of the disease Hana is set to marry the newly inaugurated mayor, Fred Hargrove, but questions the boy she was paired with while investigating the disappearance of his defective ex-wife. Hana's also hiding something that surges the tension of Lena's inevitable return to Portland.

Characters missing from Pandemonium return; some hardened as Lena was trained to be, others punished inside Portland for sympathizing. Lauren Oliver pulls no punches and suffuses this book with high stakes, casualties of war, betrayals, and a formidable resistance to conclude the trilogy on a high note."
