‘Intuition’ is an excellent short story that introduces us to Luke and Sera, the characters in ‘Intangible’, a young adult novel by the same author. Luke has visions that come true and so far he hasn’t ever been able to change the outcome. This time, while hiking on a mountain, he thinks he has a chance and he runs, followed by his twin sister Sera, to try to prevent a man from falling. I won’t tell you the outcome, just that the end has a nice little twist that is very fitting for the short story genre.

At the end of ‘Intuition’ is a preview of ‘Intangible’ and both works show that J Meyer can write well and is worthy of our readership. This is a taster, something to assure you that you can purchase Meyer’s books and know that you’ll be getting quality. It’s sold me on ‘Intangible.’
