This book is about farm animals going on an adventure. Ducks, goats, hens, inch worms, kittens, mice, pigs, and sheep go on an adventure to see where "x marks the spot" for their picnic. After they eat, the all fall asleep "Z Z Z Z Z Z Z Z Z Z."

I like this book because it can be used to teach young children the alphabet. The illustrations are very simple so it would catch a child's eye, but he would still be able to pay attention to the words. I think this could be very useful in a preschool!
