I did not want this story to end!

Playing for Keeps (A Neighbor from Hell #1) by R.L. Mathewson was a sweet and comical adult romance novel. The fresh and entertaining storyline was easy to get wrapped up in. The characters unique quirks added humor and set this novel apart. Jason’s crazy obsession with food and Haley’s fist of fury cracked me up.

Jason and Haley’s journey from enemies to lovers was just plain precious! I loved how Mathewson showed readers gradual developments in their relationship: enemies to buddies to best friends to lovers.

As soon as this story ended, I bought Perfection (A Neighbor from Hell #2).

I gave Playing for Keep by R.L. Mathewson 4 STARS. I can’t wait to read more by Ms. Mathewson. Her style is original and enjoyable.

Leslie Did you notice this one isn't released until April of this year?

Reading, Eating & Dreaming Leslie- You just made my day! :) Welcome to 2012! hehe.

Leslie Ha, ha!! I think I'm trying to get you to start TD&L first, so we can compare notes!!

Leslie oh, and it's what I get for trying to multitask!! Touche'!

Reading, Eating & Dreaming LOL! I'll read Playing for Keeps while your reading Tall, Dark, and Lonely and then we can tell each other if the other one is worth reading ;)

Leslie Okay, you're on!!

Leslie Geez, girl...have you already read this book??

Reading, Eating & Dreaming Yeah. LOL. I stayed up pretty late last night. I couldn't put it down!

Leslie Good to know!! I'm enjoying TD&L myself! It's somewhat strange, but I like that! Did you experience that with PfK?

Reading, Eating & Dreaming IDK if I'd say the story was strange, but the characters had some unique/strange quirks... The writing was very unique too. IDK. hmmm...

Leslie I think you hit the nail on the head. Their "quirks" are a little strange. The vamp in my book is a little foul-mouthed (which cracks me up), and his bathroom habits were DISGUSTING!! Don't wanna give too much away. I like the story, though! Was your book also in 3rd person?

Reading, Eating & Dreaming Hmmm.. strange bathroom habits. That sounds STRANGE. I am very curious now.

Leslie Yes, he's quite different. I'm aslo looking forward to Playing for Keeps, too! Are you writing a review?

Reading, Eating & Dreaming Yes :) LOL. Just posted it! I just posted my review for Perfection (A Neighbor from Hell #2) too!

Karma I'm loving these Neighbor from Hell books, too! They are such a great mix of romance and comedy. Thanks, Reading Eating & Dreaming for your review website. I'm on there every day picking my next read.
