This book is probably first targeted to parents who are not familiar with, or only have a cursory familiarity with, the fantasy genre in general, are Christian, and want a balanced Christian view of fantasy stories to help them in the raising of their children in regard to literature. I found the author to be pretty fair and balanced, although this book is not a very in-depth study. It is however, a good place to start for concerned and uninformed parents. I appreciate the author's PRO-fantasy, PRO-fun, perspective.
