Before You Go is an incredible realistic fiction. It opens with a car accident scene in which you know someone dies but not who, and then flips back to before it happened. You follow mostly Jude, but occassionally other characters as they go through their everyday lives until you revisit the accident about three quarters of the way through. Then, you see the aftermath. It was beautiful and heart-wrenchingly sad. I loved the way it showed the characters dealing with death in a realistic fashion. It's incredible.
