A typical Brad Smith book, fun with a bit of mystery. His stories often have a laconic main character.
This one involves a fellow who is wrongfully accused of murder and has to escape from jail to prove his innocence. Of course he falls for the pretty female cop who thinks he may not be guilty. A fun, light mystery. This is my fourth Brad Smith book and I have enjoyed them all. He is a little known Canadian gem.
