Lia is a loner, or at least that's how she starts out in the book. She doesn't bother talking to anyone because her eyes are different and she feels as if no one would understand her, being adopted and an outsider. That is until Ryan who is from the Rez tries to befriend her. He falls for her but she doesn't feel the same way about him. With Ryan as her new best friend she now has a large group of friends who are just like her (shifters). Her adopted mother recently died before the book began and she didn't know much about her family. But with Ryan as her friend he takes her to his aunt who senses and sees things. She tells Lia about her being a shifter because she has the mark on her eyes (a crescent moon), Ryan and his whole family and friends have the same mark and they too are all shifters. But Lia is different because she is not only a shifter but an immortal wolf who is destined to live her life all over again with the same ending, unless she can change it.

Emi and her family own the ranch that Lia's stepfather and her live at. At first they are the best of friends but as Lia learns more about herself and her background Emi also inherits powers from her grandmother who dies near the beginning of the book. She then turns on Lia because Emi believes that Lia will lead Adam (a vampire) to Emi and her family. She doesn't want Adam close to them because her ancestors once tried to kill him and this cause Lia's past life to also end her own life.

So here we have Lia an immortal wolf and Ryan and his family all shape shifters, Ryan is very overprotective of Lia. Emi is trying to kill Lia, Lyle who is Emi's brother is in love with Lia and wants some of her blood so that he too can become immortal. Adam has finally showed himself and being that Lia is Adam's love reincarnated they automatically fall for each other all over again. Lyle and Emi try to lure Lia to him by harming her stepfather and bringing Lia out of hiding. Once they have her in their presence they attempt to destroy her, thinking that Lia would not fight back. Adam comes out and battles Lyle and his sister to finally end this cycle.

This book was enjoyable to read, but I wish it was a little bit longer or there was more depth to each characters, but overall it was good. It was a quick and easy read.
