I enjoyed this book. It is a sequel to Covenant, but you don't really have to read that book to enjoy this one. It moves at a fast pace. I enjoyed the characters. Ariana is the epitome of evil, and it's alot of fun to watch her in action. There are a pair of unlikely heroes that you can't help but root for. The curburide were great. It would have been good to see more of them.
