Trish my favoritest book ever. but I'm just insanely partial to ASOIAF. :)


Sheila The characters! The action! I just can't even believe all that happened. Even though I was spoiled for a lot of it, my jaw was still hanging open as I read. Just amazing.

I totally agree. Book 3 was like a bomb.. in a good way. I've always found Book 2 to be something of a drag (in comparison) and I feel like the TV show is struggling a little.. but come Season 3 it should be crazy :D But it's really GRRM's characters that make me love the series.. I feel like he really does a good job of making most of the characters real, lovable, hatable, etc.


Sheila The characters are all so clearly constructed. I don't even know how he does it. Words are failing me.
