really liked it
Read from January 30 to February 17, 2012

This book will appall the "super-serious" Austen-afficiendos. However I liked it.
I have read P&P every year since I was 14 I love it so much ...but not to the point where I'm dissecting each phrase into atoms as some of the commenters here seem to be doing.

I read this book, I laughed, I enjoyed the descriptions, I liked the way she followed through with P&P plotpoints.... For an Austen fan this book is mental candy.

This book is a fun/silly read. If you like Austen but don't take it too seriously I would recommend it.
This would be a great book to give to someone who liked Austen & was about to go to a beach-type holiday or someone that was about to get snowed in (with lots of hot chocolate or tea).
