R.G. Phelps Gibbon's Secrets 1st edition was published as a paperback by Author House October 21, 2008 and republished as a paperback January 29, 2012 by CreateSpace and as a Kindle book by CreateSpace March 9, 2014. Gibbon's Secrets is a historical fiction about a young boy's memories of the 40's and covers all of the home front happenings in a typical small town in the middle of Nebraska. This fictional story does give the reader a chronological record of many of the major battles and news events covered by several scrapbooks the author's father handed down to him. Even though the story is fictional most of the events actually did happen; although some were truly fictional and included to give more depth to the story.
