Ria Jackson and Shawn Matthews have been living together in Los Angeles for the past seven years. Though things haven’t been all good, all the time; they still love one another. Ria an aspiring writer and editor’s assistant has just been offered an editor’s position with an elite magazine out of town.
Upon hearing the news, Shawn, along with his bruised ego, informs Ria that it will be a good idea if they broke things off. So off to New York Ria goes and the twisted love story begins. While she tries to get settled in New York, Shawn gets reacquainted with a blast from his past and as the old saying goes if you can’t be with the one you love, love the one you’re with.
Through missed phone calls and opportunities time passes by for Ria and Shawn, but their love still remains. In the end, Ria doesn’t fare well in New York and relocates back home with a secret in tow. Will Ria’s secret be found out and will it destroy any chances of her and Shawn reconciling? Will Shawn’s new lady love step aside so easily? I’m not telling. You will have to purchase the book and read for yourself!
