Read in December, 1996
I first read this book in 1996 when I was 11 and right in the midst of my "I Love Lucy" obsession. The book was very detailed and went into a lot of depth on Jess Oppenheimer's own part in the Lucy dynasty. At the time I read the book I was more interested in Lucille Ball herself so many of the details bored me. But I was 11 so I'm sure I'd enjoy the book much more now and probably even up my rating of it if I was to reread it.
