Read from January 28, 2012 to June 11, 2015 — I own a copy

Just before sleep reading whenever I do not have other assigned readings (submissions of mss by authors seeking publication). Its episodic nature makes it a great book to read a bit at a time over a longer period. McNally never seems to run out of the potential for new twists and turns in the emergence of his fantasy world of fantasy characters.Although I am not a reader of serious fantasy, this book may make me a believer.

30.0% "A very long flight of the imagination in which the line between man and creature fades, the landscape reaches ever to new horizons, and hints of tragic flaws promise to take the story to tragic moments and incredible heights. Too soon soon to even begin to guess the outcome--dwarfs, priestesses, wizards, elves of varied sizes, each with their own set of special skills, insights and magic."
