it was amazing

Read from January 28 to 31, 2012

This book goes through the birth, upbringing, and emergence of one very popular director, John Hughes, who made wildly popular 80's movies. From The Breakfast Club to Ferris Bueller's Day Off and everything before and after and between, this book covers them all. Gora talks to all of the principal actors, writers, producers, even diving an entire chapter into the music of the films. It's a highly enlightening, and entertaining nostalgia ride. It honestly makes me want to go back and re-watch all of Hughes' classics. They even cover Hughes' death in 2009, and they cover what happened to everyone involved in the movies. It was a great book all the way through.
