Each page of this book and Banyai's newest book, Re-Zoom surprises the reader with vibrant colors and pictures with no words. Each page is connected, unexpectedly, in some way to the next page. The first page of Zoom is a zoomed in red zigzag, the next page is of a rooster, and the red zigzag is the top of his head. The next page shows two children looking at the rooster from a window. The rest of the pages zoom out, containing surprises and different settings on each page. There is not one "predictable" page, making both Zoom and Re-Zoom singular and fun to read, no matter what the language is of the child. Brilliant! Both of these books are destined to become classics!
