Good book! I really liked Evie and Lend. Evie had a great voice, and her sense of humor carried the novel really well. I liked that she was strong and self-possessed but still feminine and liked pink and heels and things like that. They're not mutually exclusive! I really liked what Kiersten White did with some of the world building and fantasy in this book. Cool ideas about fairies, like knowing their true name. Maybe that's common in fairylore? I wouldn't know :P But the explanation behind Evie and Vivian were really cool, too! Very different.

Side note: one of the quotes on my book was something like "The two love interests did their job - one stole Evie's heart, the other stole mine." Um, what about Reth do you find appealing?? He's just creepy and possessive!

A simple ending. It felt like things were resolved a bit too easily, but I know there's more to come. Off to get the sequel!
