I enjoyed this book. It was very thought-provoking sometimes. Camilla and Frank spend a lot of time discussing God, life, death, and stars. She also meets people who have lived through different tragedies and it helps her put her own life into perspective. Sometimes it does seem a bit long with all the talking, but it is still interesting. I also liked the way it ended (though I will keep my mouth shut about that one).
The book was originally published in 1951 under the title Camilla Dickinson. This version was published in 1965, so some of the fashions may be a bit outdated but I found it refreshing and fun to read Camilla's descriptions of her clothes.
There is a little bit of language, but I'm not kidding when I say a little bit. There really isn't much. Its a pretty clean read.
