it was amazing
Read from January 26 to February 05, 2012

Johnny Turnbull and his little sister Ketheria are born along with 200 other children on a spaceship headed for a preordained destination, the legendary rings of Orbis. Johnny has some unique ESP-like abilities with the software that manages the ship (also called 'Mother') which both foreshadows an exciting future AND makes him a target for bullying. When they finally dock on Orbis, they are disappointed to find that they are scheduled for lives of indentured servitude. Mysteries about Johnny and Ketheria's past infuse the story, while new curious happenings and shady characters create a tight, suspenseful atmosphere that does not let up until the very end.
Overall, this is an impressive juggernaut of a book. Haarsma did it: he made a world that feels both real and exciting! It's not surprising that there's already a hoppin' RPG:
