Barbara Kerley celebrates the quotidian events that take place around the world. Despite our different countries, languages, and cultures, children all over the world share many of the same activities, such as waking up, eating breakfast, and spending time with family. This book helps children take a global perspective and gives them a new lens in which to explore new cultures. The end notes provide additional information about the countries highlighted in the book, and provide a stepping stone for extending learning through research and reference skills.
