really liked it

The book "So B. it" is a great read. The mystery is intriguing and the characters are quirky yet real. 12 year old Heidi lives with her mother and her mothers caretaker, Bernie. Her mother has a mental disability where she only knows 23 words. Heidi doesn't know her last name or her father and she cannot find out because her mother cannot tell her. This gripping story captures your attention within and shows the reader that anything is possible if you put your mind to it. Heidi is so captured by her curiosity that she leaves to travel to her mothers group home that is currently shut down. She goes and tries to find information, but then something happens and her world gets turned upside-down. Bulletin of the Center for Children’s Books said: "A quick and satisfying tale of love, determination, and the kindness of strangers.” In my opinion this is a fast story of great importance and even if the reader cant relate to the character, they can relate to the emotions that the characters feel and the difficulty of life in general. This is a story that the reader will never forget and even when they are finished, they keep thinking about it.
