Dear Lemony Snicket/Daniel Handler,
I was and still am a fan of your A Series of Unfortunate Events. I tried to like Why We Broke Up but it was like thing that the Incredibly Deadly Viper was deadly.. You just can't

This book was seriously a fail. This whole book was about these two annoying teens who like these really old movies that no one ever heard of. The girl puts all their memories in a box and explains why they broke up.. Each chapter is dedicated to some item like a compass.YOU GUYS BROKE UP..WHO CARES. This book was even more disappointing than The End.

I kept waiting for this book to get good but you just kept me hanging there and hanging there.
Finally after reading and reading I realized.. YOU BLEW IT.

If you want to read a terrible book go head, banging your head against a wall is probably more productive and enjoyable than this book. What did Mr. Snickler think.. let's make the worst book possible and let's see how many idiots buy this garbage and love it.

Your plan worked congrats..

This book was so repetitive and stupid.. Let's make almost every chapter end with this is why we broke upp.. we get the point.. For one I'll Mr. Snickler some credit for doing something right by not putting the name Lemony Snicket, and for choosing Maria Kalman to do the art for this book. If he put the name Lemony Snicket on it noone would ever want to read A Series Of Unfortunate Events.
Stitch is ready to tear his eyes out after reading this book and I don't blame him..

Don't read this book under any circumstance.. people are going to tell you it's good but don't give in.. if you do you might end up looking this miserable.

READ THIS AT YOUR OWN RISK.. Don't blame me I told ya so..This book is pointless, I feel cheated even though I didn't pay a cent for this book. BLAH BLAH BLAH we broke up because of blah blah blah.. This book was so unoriginal, it dragged on and on.. and that's
WHY THIS BOOK SUCKS.. this review is more original than this garbage of a book. Giving this book 1 star is way too generous. Rating: 0 Stars
EDIT:I just found out that this book won a PRINTZ award.. is this some sort of joke.. Were the People who gave this award bribed or something :O

I don't know.. It's really bad and pointless I don't recommend it to anyway at all even people I don't like.
Nice! I was thinking to buy that book because the cover was attractive. I almost deceived! Two thumbs up for the review!
Ugh. Tell me about it. This was honestly a disgusting excuse for a book. And to think it came from the same mind that created Count Olaf and VFD. Unfreakingbelievable. I didn't even bother finishing it.
I agree completely! He did such a great job on Unfortunate Events and this book was nowhere close in comparasion.
I found myself looking for some aspect of the Series of Unfortunate Events in this book as well. Unfortunately, I was severely disappointed.
Scott wrote: "Katrina, have you read Snicket's latest book? Who Could That Be At This Hour? It's good ol'Snicket!"
Yeah I did, Scott! Felt such great bouts of nostalgia
This definitely is not Daniel Handler/Lemony Snicket's best work however the storyline was cute just too stereotypical and predictable.
I agree that the book wasn't very original. I found myself predicting events and of course being correct. It seemed like the stereotypical stereotype breaker, if that makes sense. Stories that try to break stereotypes have just been repeated so much that they have become a stereotype all of their own.
Wish I had read this review right when I opened the book, would've closed it right away! I give it 0* as well!
The thing is, though, Daniel Handler takes this cliche situation and makes it un-cliche. The writing makes it worth it
