Recently had an opportunity to meet the author, Paul Barret, during a writer's panel. The short tales he told about what it was like writing the "completely unauthorized" story of Glock were sharp, witty and humorous. The attempted assassination of Gustav Glock--& the way Mr. Barrett tells it--is what convinced me to buy the book. That, and I had a chance to have the author sign the book! Which we bibliophiles won't turn down. I can't wait to dig in! Glock sounds like an amazingly bizarre company.
