Make me stop. Don't let me read these any more. The most thinly plotted and unexplained of the recent run of bumbling unplotted messes. Stephanie Plum is becoming less likeable with each book -- her growing, changing, self-awareness, growing up, maturing, etc. is (n-1) books overdue at this point and her helplessness has continued for WAY too long. What started out as potentially a kick-ass bounty hunter (albeit bumbling) has stretched into an uncomfortably admittedly slutty, unconfident, incompetent user of men (and women) who refers to herself as a trainwreck but doesn't take steps to change. Ahhh. Gahhh. Bleh....
