I had to read this since it is a local author on the same side of the lake as me although I have not met the author. I think that I will have to meet him now. One of my book clubs chose it as it was also the Lake Oswego good reads winner.

It is a beautifully written story about a small community on the Oregon coast. The stories of the inhabitans weave in and out from one person to the next. The crow speaks and is a bit of threat to these intertwined stories.

A story never ends, it begins, changes, sometimes hides, and can come crashing to the forefront. Thus, this book doesn't contain a neatly packaged ending so don't expect anything earth shattering to happen.

For all you perfect grammer people, expect incomplete and run on sentences. It is truly written almost like a poem.
