Such a wonderful book!

Carley lived with her mom, trying to take care of her, until her mom's boyfriend tried to hurt her- Carly's mom caught her ankle, held her, and made it possible.

She is taken to a foster home where she protects herself from belonging to this loving, stable family of four.

You know where this is going, you know what's going to happen, but it is such a great journey getting there. I loved Carley, I love her foster family. Mrs. Murphy has so much to offer and because of them, Carley is able to see how much she will be able to offer, too.
