I chose this book for extra credit for history class, so i though i would use it for good reads also. This is the story about a girls family almost like the family in My Brother Sam is Dead. Her father is a loyalist and her brothers a patriot and he goes to fight in the revoulutionary war. She finds out that the patriots found out that her father is a loyalist and they are going to come after her. She runs away to start her own life in hiding until the war comes to and end. "Negress wanted! Five feet, six inches in height, or slightly more. Twenty Two years old. Slender, two front teeth crooked, hazel eyes, soft voice, Generous offer of 50 pounds for return of this runaway. Something unique is that so many books have the same plot and story line put the ending is always different. I would reccomend this book to people that like war stories and reading about the lives of those in hiding.
