I chose this book, "The Secret Identity of Devon Delaney" because it sounded mysterious after reading the title. In this book, Devon tells a summer friend of hers a small lie, but then was standing in front of Devon's class. Devon starts to lose friends from her harmless lies that she started. One of my favorite quote is when Devon's friend, Lexi, tells her "If you risk nothing, you risk even more" because she is encouraging Devon to talk to a guy that she lied to but liked. I think the author's style really helps give advice on how small lies really can turn into a bigger problem. I would recommend this to people who has trouble identifying who the are.
