it was amazing
bookshelves: acceptance, affection, connections-disconnections, encouragement

Book covers the uniqueness of names and meanings. About a girl who is often ridiculed due to her unusual name. Book covers acceptance.

I would incorporate a math lesson as well. I would have the students count their total letters of the name and complete a Venn diagram, comparing the amount of letters within the class, compared to my name. Then student can complete a graph representing this idea.

Great for any grade level between 1-3.
