I love the British Monarchy and have quite an extensive collection of books on the subject, some rare, going back to the early fifties. I bought this one because it was touted as being a new and fresh look at Queen Elizabeth II. It was very well written and is updated since the last one I bought, but there is virtually nothing new here, with the exception of Queen Elizbeth's living longer than the last book. There is a precious few words about William and Kate, Charles and Camilla, etc. But basic stuff is all it is. The author says she was given access to those close to the queen, but I'd read all this stuff before. I wish I'd saved my money.
