Another amazing story by Joely Sue Burkhart. After really enjoying Conn's story in Dear Sir I'm Yours, I decided to give his brother, Victor's story a try. Victor and Shiloh's story is centered around the extreme edge of BDSM and Ms. Burkhart does an incredible job of developing the characters and describing their challenges in needing and accepting their roles as the sadist and the masochist. And, while the S/M portion of BDSM isn't necessarily my thing - I thought this book did a wonderful job of broaching that topic. I am a huge fan of Cherise Sinclair and while wanting to read Master Sam's story, I wasn't sure if I could get into a novel about a sadist. After reading this, I have no hesitation whatsoever. Ms. Burkhart does a great job of allowing the readers into the minds of Victor and helps us understand the struggles he has with needing to give pain, while not wanting to hurt his partner. Shiloh, who deeply needs the pain, does a great job of helping Victor to understand that side of him while simply loving him.

If you're a fan of the BDSM genre, I highly recommend this book. Enjoy!!
