Veronica's Nap- I think we all have taken that "nap" that Veronica has taken. Her "nap" is about finding herself, but for Veronica she is looking for herself through other people- the man she meets in France on a painting vacation and eventually marries. The twin babies that she has with her husband. Veronica is living everyone's life but her own. She comes to realize that she just can't "nap" through life. She becomes bored and can't seem to get her painting career off the ground- she can't even think of picking up the paint brush to get started. Veronica slowly realizes that she can't begin to live her life until she starts to wake up from her nap and put one foot in front of the other, even if that means leaving her husband and France behind. Veronica's Nap was was easy to pick up and hard to put down because you wanted to see Veronica wake up from her nap!
