I don't usually read Harlequin romances but this one was free, so I thought I'd give it a chance.I have to admit that it was pretty cute, even if Adam acted like a jerk most of the time. It has some funny moments as Casey and Adam try to find a way to live together, not exactly as man and wife, but more like man and often inconvenient house guest. Yet the sparks do fly between them despite Adam's obvious reluctance.

Even thought I understand Adam's personality, I still liked all of the other primary characters more than him. His step-mother Eloise, lawyer Sam and sweet Casey, who grows a back bone during the book. Although I have to admit that he did grown on me as the book progressed. I know I probably would have felt differently about him if given the chance to see the world through his eyes instead of the book being just from Casey's viewpoint.

So despite my niggles, it was still a fun and entertaining read.
