This book was very sweet and had a good moral--you can always make something out of nothing. The story was about Joseph and his beloved overcoat. After a lot of wearing his coat, it became old and worn and so he made a jacket out of it. When the jacket became old and worn, he made a vest, and so on and so on, until it was down to a tiny button. One day Joseph lost the button and he was devastated. His friends said to him, "What one doesn't have, one wants and what one wants, one doesn't have." Joseph thought and thought and decided to make a book about his experience. I think the moral was good because it teaches us that we should always make the most of what we have and that we can always make good out of every situation. This book wasn't a favorite of mine, but I definitely enjoyed reading it, and it teaches kids a good lesson.
