This book (zine, actually) is truly unique. Reklaw (editor) was a student at an Ivy League college and was sifting through the recycling bins for tossed out magazines. He found a stack of application files from the biology department circa 1965-1970. They probably should've shredded them?!
Reklaw poured through them and couldn't help himself. He published them! This zine has photos of 40 applicants and a comment that one of their references said about them. They're hilarious and depressing simultaneously.
The guy on the cover, for example, prompted this description from a reference: "No brooding malaise or bitter rebellion in this man."
Under one girl's photo, it says, "She is female and an attractive, modest one so is bound to marry."
