it was ok
Read from August 09 to 18, 2012 , read count: 1

This was a book club book for August and I can honestly say it was not chosen by me so I knew I wasn't going to be over the moon about it. But I will admit when I picked it up I was drawn right it. It starts off talking about Powerball winners, which I did not see coming! That part sucked me in. Then it moved on to the history of the fortune cookie and where it came from. At that point I was still intrigued. But that soon ended. It all went down hill from there. From there on out I felt like I was reading a text book. A well written one, but a text book nonetheless. Lots of history and at times it was very interesting. The human smuggling part was rather interesting but I started to lose interest. 2.5 stars if it were possible.
