Read from January 20 to 21, 2012 — I own a copy

This is a themed collection of short stories. Basically, it's more of an introduction to various characters from the authors novel Heart's Chalice, which I haven't read yet. I found these stories intriguing and I think this is an innovative and creative way to add something extra to a novel. Readers who have enjoyed the novel will no doubt gain extra insight into the characters by reading these short pieces. And most of the stories are very short, only a page or two. It's a quick and easy read, and it made me curious to want to find out more about these characters and their world. The character Misty Laurel has second sight, something that is inherited, and many of the stories revolve around her visions and the visions of others in her family. I will now be adding Heart's Chalice to my to-read list so that I can find out more about this strange and enchanting fictional world...
