The last book I read was a memoir by the father of a meth addict. This is the son's memoir. The Dad's book was better. The Dad's book is very relatable, but the first half of this book is just pure horror - all set in very familiar places. It's impressive how much the son is willing to admit to, and the second half is much less painful to read. It was interesting to read the two books back to back and see the different sides of the same coin.
