June and Day stand on opposite sides of things – she is the government's most favored prodigy; he is the government's most wanted criminal. When their paths cross, secrets are revealed, alliances shift, one of them has to question everything …

With YA dystopias swamping the market right now, I think it's definitely safe to say that it's worth giving Marie Lu's Legend a try. It is fast-paced, action-packed and utterly captivating - the pages just fly by. At the same time, though, it doesn't neglect the relationships between the characters, their family ties. It features two extremely likable protagonists whose voices really got to me. I liked the first person alternate narratives- really keeps the action moving. They are both smarter and stronger than others, but they are not immune to making mistakes. They both have a strong sense of honor, and their families are the most important thing to them. And their forbidden romance is an attraction that slowly develops into something more. You will be glad you read this one. I already can't wait to see where this story is headed.

Brooke This one has been on my to-read shelf and I was hesitant about it. Now I'll be sure to check it out.

It is a quick read, but a good one. Written better than most. You will like the alternating first person perspective. I think that's why it goes so quick (in the story).
