I totally enjoyed this story. Derek was working the streets and never had a relationship. A foiled attempt at purse snatching lands Derek working on Jesse's ranch where he meets the incredible Ishwar. A native American, Ishwar wants to accept Derek's advances but needs more than a night of hot sex. A night at a local bar brings Lucas into the picture who is the Wendigo pack Alpha. The reader can see Derek thinking over being loved and plain sex when he is attacked by a rogue wolf and nearly killed. Ishwar and Lucas both have gifts and need to combine them to heal Derek. The ending moved pretty fast but most shifter endings do. What I enjoyed about this book was that it was more about Derek and less about the shifters.
