This book was about a girl, Holly, who was conducting an experiment on vegetables. She did not expect the vegetables to grow a certain size. This is a great read to help students overcome their fear of vegetables. This is a great book for science lessons because it talks about how to do science, and shows how sometimes when experiments are implemented. unexpected results occur. This book can also be used for a social studies unit on geography and location because it talks about the places that the vegetables landed and the pictures in the book support the location.
