John Welter has been on my radar since I tripped over this book several years ago. I recommend it simply because it is, well, wacky. The suspension of disbelief is severly tested in several places in this novel, but it has always been a fond memory of mine...the reading of it. I remember passing time with it in the library at Valdosta State University where I was going to college at the time. The passage I was reading was about the main character and his IV pole. I snorted and laughed out loud, so much so that I was embarassed by the number of folks who stared at me!
This book isn't for everyone, but those who do like it will, I think, be drawn back to it time and time again. To me, it is his best work to date.
