Max and her two rottweillers take on the job of bodyguarding a skientist who has invited cheap, clean energy. Then there is romance etc.
Alpha female ftw (except for how she also has to be excellent at cooking and interior design and so on, to prove her essential girliness I suppose), but as I don't see anything but sexual attraction between them I wasn't made especially happy by the happy ever after. The writing was decent overall, but sometimes repetitive (cf constant references to his dick as a 'pipe').
If you like romances, well, here's one. But I'm beginning to think I don't really like romances.
