Called the F. Scott before F. Scott.

No, not the Scott Fitzgerald before, rather the REAL F. Scott - meaning yes booze and dances and country clubs and rich folk, but also the mob, depression era depression, alcoholism, infidelity, and death.

It was a decent read, but I had my dreams set on a Fitzgerald-esque, carefree, jitterbugging, charlestoning, scuttle-hopping fun.
