Sushi For Beginners By Marian Keyes do not has anything to do with sushi in the story of the book. The book is basically based on three womens; Lisa who is a workaholic and ruthless in achieving things that she wants found herself being transferred to start a new magazine in Ireland, Ashling, little miss efficient who is due to her past childhood, tends to believe in everything there is and have low self esteem and Clodagh, (the character that i least like) who is very selfish and likes to take advantage of Ashling and her jealousy has in the end destroy her friendship with Ashling.
I really like how the characters has been formed from the beginning till the end and i like the ending very much especially Clodagh's ending ;) I mean, what do you think would happened to a girl who not only once by twice take awaythe boyfriend for her best friend right?
As for Lisa's character, it was a rather blurry as she was depicted as possessing an extreme confidence person to confused person. Someone who loves her husband very much but could do nothing to win him back when she clearly knew that he have feeling for her. It was in the end that the husband who went back to her; realising that he have the love for her ;)
