Wonderful book. I've re-read it multiple times and I don't usually do that.

I found both the characters and the world well made.

Aria's character goes from being a part of her very tiny and unrealistic world to the terrified girl she is and then excels. I love when a character can not only bounce back, but turn around and conquer their problems. Perry is an excellent combination of teen and adult in a world where he's not really either. I think that if this hadn't been written from both character's POVs that it would have suffered. This was an excellent choice by Rossi.

We find out just enough of the world to know that no part of it's perfect and that we want to know more about how it came to be. The storyline progresses a little fast for me at certain points. I found the acceleration of of Aria and Perry's friendship to be a tad bit unrealistic, but that's not unusual for me. Just a personal pet peeve.
