Why? WHY?! I'm very conflicted over this book, to say the least. The first book lets readers get to know about a race of supernaturals known as skin walkers. And we know Daniel at the end was a little supernatural. A little. Oh, but in book 2? Everyone is some kind of freakin' supernatural! The book is supposed to blend with the authors first series, which to me, seems really stupid. I loved the first book to bits! Now, this book was crammed with so many new races and conflicts that I'm literally annoyed. This was about skin walkers, not demon hunters, nymphs, werewolves, you name it. It was rushed and ruined a perfectly good chance at being awesome by itself. The plot was also pretty strange. Their on an island all by their self, being hunted. I gave it 3 stars for the fact that my love of the first book was powerful enough to push and wedge itself into this one.
