** spoiler alert ** Celeste is in love with Brandon, who is Legend's Run's werewolf, although the townies only suspect this, Celeste knows the truth. He is one. But how does she tell her friends that she wants to be with Brandon when he's the butt of so many jokes and Nash still wants to date her and is acting completely in love with her? Well, it's easy because by the end of the story, Nash is now a werewolf after being bit in the woods. What can a girl do? Her first crush and her first love, both werewolves and now both vying for her affection when she is the only one that can keep their attention and keep them calm when they're in werewolf form during a full moon.

As with Schreiber's Vampire Kisses series, her Magic series is simple, straightforward, a pinch of romance and a dash of high school clique-iness make for some great entertainment that again, moves forward enough to keep the reader hooked and interested. I'm not sick of the werewolf genre just yet with Schreiber's interpretation.
